Data entry into a GIS format was carried out over several years by personnel at the Nature Conservancy, Providence office and RIGIS at the Department of Admnistration-Statewide Planning Program -RIGIS Polysons were manually dgitized from source USGS quad maps or selected from parcel level GIS data supplied by some towns. When possible and practical, attribute items were field verified by going to various town halls
